Overview SBL Mercurius Solubilis 0/5 LM
Mercurius Solubilis, also known as Quicksilver, is a homeopathic remedy derived from purified mercury, rendering it both safe and therapeutically effective. Symptoms worsen nocturnally, during perspiration, in warm beds, and cold, humid conditions. Patients exhibit extreme sensitivity to temperature fluctuations. Body discharges are characterized by a foul odor. A predisposition to ulceration, bleeding, and tissue necrosis is common. Headaches are intense, accompanied by heat and inflammation; vertigo is experienced when recumbent. Scalp tension feels like a constricting band; stinging, burning, malodorous eruptions and hair loss occur. The scalp is taut, with oily perspiration. Eyes burn intensely, producing corrosive discharge. This remedy is particularly suitable for individuals working near fires or in metal foundries. Nosebleeds are frequent, often accompanied by foul-smelling, sanguinous nasal discharge, swelling, and potential nasal bone destruction; sneezing is triggered by sunlight. Discharge is copious, corrosive, yellowish-green, and purulent. Nocturnal epistaxis is common. Ear discharge is thick, yellow, fetid, and bloody. Earaches (otalgia) are aggravated by warmth and nocturnal stabbing pains. External ear boils may develop. Excessive salivation is present, with spongy gums. The tongue is moist, flabby, and yellow. Halitosis is prominent. Intense thirst for cold drinks and constant hunger coexist with stomach tenderness. Hiccups and regurgitation are also noted. Tremors in the hands and paralysis may occur. Limb and bone pain worsens at night. Profuse perspiration offers no relief. Itching intensifies in warm beds. Fever is accompanied by excessive sweating, yet provides no relief; alternating flushes of heat in localized areas are experienced. Dosage should be as directed by a physician; concurrent use with conventional medications is permissible. A 30-minute interval should be maintained between ingestion and other substances. Avoid strong-smelling substances (e.g., camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, asafoetida) near the time of administration. No side effects have been reported. Use under professional medical guidance.
