Overview SBL Mercurius Solubilis 0/7 LM
Mercurius Hydrargyrum, also known as Quicksilver, is a homeopathic remedy derived from purified mercury. Its efficacy stems from this preparation, rendering it both safe and therapeutically valuable. Symptoms often worsen nocturnally, with sweating, bed warmth, and cold, damp conditions exacerbating them. Patients exhibit extreme sensitivity to temperature fluctuations. Body discharges are characteristically foul-smelling, with a propensity for ulceration, bleeding, and tissue breakdown. Headaches are intense, accompanied by heat, inflammation, and a tight, bandaged sensation on the scalp; stinging, burning, offensive eruptions may also be present, along with hair loss and oily scalp sweat. Vertigo occurs when lying supine. Eyes experience burning and corrosive discharges. This remedy is particularly well-suited for individuals working near fire or metal foundries. Nasal symptoms include nosebleeds (especially at night), foul-smelling and bloody discharges, nasal bone destruction, and sneezing upon sun exposure. Discharge may be yellow-green, fetid, and purulent. Ear complaints involve thick, yellow, fetid, and bloody discharge, earache worsened by bed warmth, night pain, and external boils. Mouth symptoms include excessive salivation, spongy gums, a moist, yellow, flabby tongue, and halitosis. Stomach symptoms include intense thirst for cold drinks, constant hunger, tenderness to palpation, hiccups, and regurgitation. Extremities may experience trembling and paralysis, with bone pain worsened at night. The skin exhibits profuse perspiration, yet this offers no relief; itching is aggravated by bed warmth. Fevers are accompanied by increased sweating, again without relief, and alternating flushes of heat in localized areas. Dosage should be as directed by a physician, and it may be used concurrently with conventional medications. Maintain a 30-minute interval between this remedy and food, beverages, or other medications. Avoid strong-smelling substances like camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, and asafoetida near the time of administration. No side effects have been reported. Use under professional medical guidance.
