Achillea millefolium, or Yarrow, offers valuable therapeutic benefits for various hemorrhagic conditions. It's indicated following trauma such as falls or strenuous exertion, and post-surgical recovery from lithotripsy. Symptoms such as a feeling of forgetfulness, dizziness with slow movement, and convulsions associated with amenorrhea are also responsive to this remedy. Painful varicose veins during pregnancy and hemorrhoidal bleeding are further areas of application. Menorrhagia characterized by prolonged, bright red bleeding responds well, as does a blood-tinged cough related to suppressed menstruation or hemorrhoids. Dosage should adhere to physician instructions; concomitant use with conventional medication is permissible. Adverse effects are unreported. To ensure optimal efficacy, maintain a 30-minute interval between Yarrow and food, drink, or other medications.
