Known also as Musk, this homeopathic preparation originates from the musk deer. Characteristic symptoms include chilliness, flatulence, and abdominal distension, particularly worsened by cold or drafts. It's exceptionally effective for convulsive fainting episodes. Mentally, patients may exhibit uncontrollable laughter, palpitations, and anxiety. Gastric symptoms include a craving for black coffee and stimulants, while food aversion stems from loss of taste, often triggering fainting spells post-meal. Spasmodic, nervous hiccups are also noted. In males, heightened libido coupled with premature aging and diabetic-induced impotence may be present. Nausea and vomiting can follow sexual intercourse. Females may experience early, heavy menses with fainting spells. Respiratory difficulties include dyspnea, a cough that weakens but fails to produce expectorant, and a sense of chest constriction. Asthma, marked by intense anxiety, fear, and suffocating sensations, may also be present. Dosage should adhere to physician's instructions and may be used concurrently with conventional medications.
