Also called Musk, this homeopathic medicine derives from the musk deer. Characterized by cold sensitivity, abdominal gas, and bloating, it's especially indicated when symptoms worsen in cold air or drafts. Highly effective for fainting or convulsive episodes. Mental symptoms include uncontrollable laughter, palpitations, and anxiety. Gastric symptoms include a craving for black coffee and stimulants, but aversion to other foods due to loss of taste; fainting after meals; and spasmodic, nervous hiccups. Men may experience heightened libido, premature aging, impotence secondary to diabetes, and nausea/vomiting post-coitus.
