This remedy, also called Musk, is derived from musk deer. Its primary indications include chilliness, flatulence, and abdominal distension, especially when symptoms worsen in cold or drafty conditions. It's highly effective for fainting and convulsive episodes. Mentally, patients may exhibit uncontrollable laughter, palpitations, and anxiety. Gastrointestinally, a craving for black coffee and stimulants contrasts with an aversion to other foods due to tastelessness; fainting may occur post-meal. Spasmodic hiccups are common. In males, increased libido and premature aging are observed, along with impotence potentially linked to diabetes and nausea/vomiting after intercourse. Females may present with early, profuse menstruation accompanied by fainting. Respiratory symptoms include dyspnea, a cough that weakens with decreased expectoration, and a feeling of chest constriction. Asthma may be characterized by intense anxiety, fear, and a suffocating sensation. Dosage should follow physician instructions; concurrent use with conventional medications is permissible. Observe a 30-minute interval between this remedy and food, beverages, or other medications.
