Sodium sulfate, derived from Glauber's salt, offers significant therapeutic value for hepatic disorders. Its efficacy is particularly pronounced in individuals whose symptoms worsen in damp environments, such as during monsoon seasons or while residing in humid dwellings. Aversion to aquatic plants and fish is often observed. Suicidal ideation may be present. Gastrointestinal manifestations include a brown, bitter-coated tongue, vomiting, heartburn, dyspepsia, and flatulence. Hepatic discomfort, characterized by sharp, stabbing pain and tenderness to palpation, is common. Patients often experience intolerance to constrictive waist garments and loose stools exacerbated by wet weather. Stools are voluminous, frequently accompanied by flatulence. This remedy may be beneficial in cases of hepatitis, jaundice, and bilious vomiting. Further applications include post-traumatic meningitis and childhood asthma marked by chest-holding during coughing fits. Chronic gout, particularly affecting the toes, and a predisposition to warts are also indicated. Jaundice may present with watery blisters. Dosage should adhere to physician instructions and may be combined with conventional medications. No side effects are reported. A 30-minute interval should separate intake from food, beverages, and other medications. Avoid strong-smelling substances such as camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, and asafoetida before and after administration. Always use under professional medical guidance.
