Sodium sulfate, derived from Glauber's salt, serves as a valuable treatment for hepatic ailments. Such individuals often experience aversion to aquatic vegetation and fish. Suicidal ideation may be present. Gastrointestinal symptoms include a brownish, bitter tongue coating, vomiting, heartburn, dyspepsia, and flatulence. Hepatic discomfort is characterized by tenderness and sharp, stabbing pains. Tight clothing around the waist is intolerable. Loose, watery stools worsen post-rain. Stools are voluminous and accompanied by flatulence.
