Savine, also called Sabina, is derived from the young, fresh shoots of its shrub. This remedy primarily addresses profuse hemorrhage. Specifically, it's indicated for heavy menstrual bleeding, bright red in color, worsened by movement, accompanied by lower back pain radiating to the abdomen, potentially extending to the vagina and thighs. It may also help with recurrent third-trimester miscarriages, post-abortion uterine infections, and constipation with hemorrhoids, particularly those causing bright red bleeding. Urinary tract infections, hematuria, and frequent urination are additional indications. Skin manifestations such as itchy, burning warts may also respond. Lower back pain extending to the abdomen and joint pain are further symptoms it can address. Dosage should follow physician's instructions; concurrent use with conventional medications is permissible. To maximize efficacy, allow a 30-minute interval between ingestion and other substances, including food, beverages, and other medications. Avoid strong-smelling substances like camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, or asafoetida near the time of administration. No side effects have been reported. Always use under professional medical guidance.
