Savine, also called Sabina, is derived from the fresh, young shoots of its shrub. Its primary application is in managing significant hemorrhaging. Specifically, it addresses heavy menstrual bleeding, characterized by bright red blood exacerbated by movement, accompanied by lower back pain radiating to the abdomen, potentially extending to the vagina and thighs. Further indications include recurrent third-trimester miscarriages, post-abortion uterine infections, and constipation with hemorrhoids, especially when accompanied by bright red bleeding. Urinary tract infections, hematuria (blood in urine), and frequent urination are also treated. Skin conditions such as itchy, burning warts are another area of use. Back pain, radiating from the lower back to the abdomen, along with joint pain, may also respond to treatment. Dosage should be as directed by a physician, and concurrent use with conventional medications is permissible. Observe a 30-minute interval between ingestion and other substances (food, drink, medications). Avoid strong-smelling substances (camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, asafoetida) near the time of administration. No side effects have been reported. Always use under professional medical guidance.
