Savine, also called Sabina, is derived from the fresh, young shoots of its shrub. Its primary application is for significant hemorrhaging. Specifically, it addresses profuse menstrual bleeding, bright red in color, worsened by movement, accompanied by lower back pain radiating to the abdomen, possibly extending to the vagina and thighs. Further indications include recurrent third-trimester miscarriages, post-abortion uterine infections, and constipation with hemorrhoids, particularly when characterized by bright red bleeding. Urinary tract infections, hematuria, and frequent urination are also responsive. Skin manifestations such as itchy, burning warts may also benefit. Lower back pain extending to the abdomen and joint pain are additional indications. Dosage should be as directed by a healthcare professional and can be used concurrently with conventional medications. To maximize efficacy, allow a 30-minute interval between ingestion and other substances, including food, drink, and other medications. Avoid strong odors like camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, or asafoetida while taking the medicine. No adverse effects have been documented. Professional medical supervision is recommended.
