Savine, also called Sabina, is derived from the fresh, young shoots of its shrub. This remedy is primarily used for profuse bleeding. Specifically, it addresses heavy menstrual bleeding, bright red in color and aggravated by movement. This bleeding is often accompanied by lower back pain radiating to the lower abdomen, potentially extending to the vagina and thighs. It's also indicated for recurrent miscarriages in the third trimester, post-abortion uterine infections, and constipation with hemorrhoids, including bright red bleeding from piles. Urinary symptoms include infection, hematuria (blood in urine), and frequent urination. Skin conditions such as itchy, burning warts may also respond. Back pain, radiating to the lower abdomen and accompanied by joint pain, is another area of application.
