Savine, also called Sabina, is derived from the fresh, young shoots of its shrub. Its primary application is managing profuse hemorrhaging. Specifically, it addresses heavy menstrual bleeding (bright red, exacerbated by movement), accompanied by lower back pain radiating to the abdomen and potentially the thighs and vagina. Further indications include recurrent third-trimester miscarriages, post-abortion uterine infections, and constipation with hemorrhoids (including bright red bleeding). Urinary issues such as infection, hematuria, and frequent urination are also treated. Skin conditions like itchy, burning warts are addressed. Lower back pain extending to the abdomen and joint pain may also respond to treatment. Dosage is determined by a physician, and it can be used concurrently with conventional medications. Precautions include a 30-minute gap between intake and food/drink/other medications, as well as avoiding strong-smelling substances like camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, and asafoetida during administration.
