Overview SBL Santoninum 0/12 LM

Derived from the unopened flower buds of *Artemisia cina*, santonin is a crystalline compound. This agent proves highly effective against intestinal parasites, specifically roundworms and threadworms. Furthermore, it offers therapeutic benefits for certain ocular and urinary tract disorders. Hallucinatory symptoms, including visual, auditory, and gustatory disturbances, may occur. Ophthalmic manifestations can include color blindness, strabismus related to parasitic infestation, and dark circles under the eyes. Urinary symptoms may encompass kidney or urinary tract infections, urine discoloration (greenish or reddish-purple), painful urination, urinary incontinence (enuresis), and a sensation of bladder fullness. Other symptoms include occipital headache, nasal pruritus and digging, fetid breath, a deep red tongue, bruxism, nausea (improved post-prandially), a sensation of choking, nausea alleviated by eating, muscle twitching. Dosage should be determined by a physician and can be used concurrently with conventional medications. A 30-minute interval should separate ingestion from food, beverages, or other medications. Avoid strong-smelling substances such as camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, or asafoetida during administration. No adverse effects have been documented. Medical supervision is recommended.
