Derived from *Artemisia cina*, Santonin, a crystalline compound extracted from its unopened flower buds, proves highly effective against intestinal parasites like roundworms and threadworms. Its therapeutic applications extend to certain eye and urinary tract disorders. Hallucinatory symptoms, including visual, auditory, and gustatory disturbances, may occur. Ocular manifestations can involve color blindness, strabismus linked to parasitic infestation, and dark circles under the eyes. Urinary symptoms may include kidney or bladder infections, urine discoloration (greenish, reddish-purple), painful urination, incontinence, enuresis, and a sensation of urinary fullness. Other potential symptoms include occipital headache, nasal itching and digging, foul breath, a deep red tongue, bruxism, nausea (relieved by eating), a choking sensation, and muscle twitching. Dosage should be as directed by a healthcare professional and can be used concurrently with conventional medications.
