Derived from dried, unopened *Artemisia cina* flower heads, santonin is a crystalline compound effective against intestinal parasites like roundworms and threadworms. Its therapeutic applications extend to certain eye and urinary tract issues. Hallucinatory symptoms (visual, auditory, gustatory) may occur.
