Golden ragwort (Senecio aureus), also called Life-root or Squaw-weed, yields a tincture made from the entire plant. Traditionally, it's used to address women's health issues, urinary problems, and respiratory ailments. Specifically, it's considered beneficial for amenorrhea in young women, often accompanied by back pain and scant or absent menstruation, sometimes preceded by cough, cold, or urinary difficulties. It may also help alleviate painful menstruation in anemic individuals.
