Cleanse your fingertip with soap and water or an alcohol wipe, ensuring dryness before proceeding. Open the lancing device, insert a new lancet, twisting to detach the protective cover (retain this cover for proper disposal). Secure the lancing device cap, then retract the spring cover to activate. Remove a test strip from the vial, immediately resealing the vial. Insert the strip into the designated port on the meter. Press the lancing device firmly against your fingertip and activate it. Once the meter displays the blood droplet icon, apply your blood sample to the test strip. Following the five-second countdown, the result will appear. Discard the used strip and the lancet (using the protector) as directed.
