Load a lancet, twisting and removing its protective sheath (retain this sheath for proper disposal). Re-attach the cap, then retract the spring cover to activate the device. Retrieve a test strip from its container, promptly resealing it. Insert the strip into the designated meter port. Firmly position the lancing device against your finger and activate it. Upon seeing the flashing blood droplet icon, apply your blood sample. Following a five-second timer, the result will appear. Safely discard the strip and the used lancet (with its protective sheath) in a designated receptacle.
