Its effectiveness extends to sensitivity stemming from tooth wear, gum recession (natural or post-treatment), and cervical abrasion. The active ingredients work by desensitizing the nerves responsible for pain signals, thus preventing discomfort during eating and drinking. For optimal results, use daily for at least a month, massaging a small amount onto sensitive areas after brushing. Instructions: Brush thoroughly twice daily for two minutes. To maximize the desensitizing effect, avoid rinsing for at least 30 minutes after brushing; instead, thoroughly expectorate excess paste. This allows a protective film to remain on the teeth.
