Zenfer capsules provide elemental iron, folic acid, and cyanocobalamin. Iron's vital role is oxygen transport and red blood cell maintenance, promoting energy and preventing anemia. Folic acid is crucial for various bodily processes, including nucleotide synthesis and homocysteine remethylation, particularly important during periods of rapid cell growth. Both children and adults need folic acid for healthy red blood cell production and anemia prevention. Cyanocobalamin, a water-soluble vitamin B12, works synergistically with folic acid in key metabolic pathways; deficiency results in megaloblastic anemia. Zenfer capsules treat iron-deficiency anemia, including nutritional anemia (especially during pregnancy and lactation), and anemia from chronic blood loss or insufficient iron intake.
