FAQs on Brofil 0.09% Eye Drop

Cleanse your hands thoroughly before and after administering Brofil 0.09% Eye Drops. This safeguards against transferring infection between eyes. Open the container only immediately prior to application and recap promptly afterward. Refrain from touching the dispenser tip with your fingers. Gently retract your lower eyelid with a clean finger while tilting your head back. Position the bottle above your eye and instill a single drop into the lower eyelid's conjunctival sac. Close your eye and apply gentle pressure to the inner corner (near the eyelid) for approximately one minute. This action minimizes drainage. If instructed by your physician, repeat the process in your other eye.
Administer a single drop in the affected eye(s) once a day, starting the day before surgery. Continue daily through the day of surgery and for the following two weeks. Dosage, however, should always adhere to your physician's specific recommendations as it can differ.
Seek immediate medical attention if you experience unusual eye sensations, eye discomfort such as burning or stinging, ocular pain, allergic reactions in the eye, redness of the eye, headache, or iritis (inflammation of the iris).
Before using Brofil 0.09% Eye Drops with other eye drops, seek your physician's guidance. A minimum five-minute interval should be maintained between administrations.
Applying other topical analgesics alongside Brofil 0.09% Eye Drops could impede or prolong post-operative eye healing. Seek medical advice if uncertain.
