Overview Coldiz Tablet

RynaCold tablets offer symptomatic relief from the common cold. They temporarily alleviate nasal congestion and address allergy symptoms such as rhinorrhea and lacrimation. RynaCold is administered orally, with or without food, as directed by a physician. Dosage is individualized based on patient response and condition severity. Complete the prescribed course of treatment; premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence and potential worsening. Inform your doctor of all other medications being used, as interactions are possible. Common side effects, often transient, include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, sleep disturbances, restlessness, fatigue, and headache. Report any concerning side effects immediately to your physician. Drowsiness and dizziness are possible; avoid driving or activities requiring alertness until effects are known. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to potential exacerbation of dizziness. Prior to use, disclose any kidney or liver conditions, pregnancy, pregnancy planning, or breastfeeding to your doctor for appropriate dosage adjustment. **Important:** Per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare guidelines, RynaCold is contraindicated for children below 12 years of age.

FAQs on Coldiz Tablet

Coldiz Tablet contains a five-drug formulation: caffeine, cetirizine, nimesulide, paracetamol, and phenylephrine. This blend offers symptomatic relief from cold symptoms such as muscle pain, headache, tiredness, elevated temperature, watery eyes, nasal discharge, sneezing, cough, throat irritation, and nasal congestion.
Breastfeeding is not recommended during Coldiz Tablet use. The medication's cetirizine component, an antihistamine, may transfer to breast milk, potentially harming the infant. Disclose your breastfeeding status to your physician before taking this medication.
Coldiz tablets comprise paracetamol and nimesulide. Excessive dosages of these medications can be hepatotoxic. Concurrent alcohol consumption is inadvisable due to the increased risk of liver injury. Patients with pre-existing liver conditions should ideally avoid this medication. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms suggestive of liver damage, such as fever, skin rash, anorexia, vomiting, malaise, abdominal pain, dark urine, jaundice, or abnormal liver function tests.
Coldiz Tablet includes caffeine; therefore, concurrent use of other caffeine-containing medications or foods is discouraged. Consumption of coffee, tea, cola beverages, and chocolate should be limited to avoid excessive caffeine ingestion. Elevated caffeine levels can lead to insomnia, tremors, and/or chest pain. Alcohol consumption (beer, wine, etc.) is also contraindicated during treatment with this medication.
Coldiz Tablet can induce drowsiness or even sleepiness during the day. Refrain from driving, operating equipment, working at heights, or engaging in hazardous tasks until you understand the medication's effects on you. Report any drowsiness experienced while using this medication to your physician.
Coldiz Tablet rarely causes serious adverse reactions. Report any allergic response, skin rash or exfoliation, mouth sores, respiratory difficulty, unusual bleeding, recurring fever or infection, visual impairment, or rapid or abnormal heart rhythm to your physician immediately. While infrequent, these side effects can be severe and require prompt medical care.
Increasing the prescribed dosage won't necessarily improve results; it could heighten the risk of severe adverse reactions and toxicity. Should your symptoms worsen despite adhering to the recommended dosage, seek medical advice for reassessment.
Retain this medication within its original, sealed packaging. Follow the storage guidelines provided on the package or label. Discard any remaining medication. Prevent access by children, pets, and others.
