FAQs on Coldson Tablet

Coldson tablets contain a four-part medication blend of paracetamol, caffeine, diphenhydramine, and phenylephrine. This formulation provides symptomatic relief from common cold manifestations including muscle pain, headache, weariness, fever, lacrimation, nasal congestion, sneezing, cough, and throat irritation.
Coldson Tablets include caffeine; therefore, it's advisable to abstain from other caffeine-containing medications or consumables. This includes beverages such as coffee, tea, and cola, as well as chocolate, to prevent excessive caffeine consumption. Concurrent alcohol use (e.g., beer, wine) should also be avoided during treatment.
Coldson Tablets may cause drowsiness or sleepiness. Refrain from driving, operating equipment, working at heights, or engaging in hazardous activities initially, until you assess the drug's effect on you.
Coldson Tablet rarely causes severe adverse reactions. Report any allergic responses, skin rashes or exfoliation, oral sores, respiratory difficulties, unusual bleeding, recurring infections or fevers, visual impairments, or rapid or erratic heartbeat to your physician immediately.
Breastfeeding is not recommended during Coldson Tablet use. The medication includes diphenhydramine, an antihistamine that can transfer to breast milk, potentially harming the infant. If prescribed Coldson, advise your physician of your breastfeeding status.
Increasing your medication dosage beyond the prescribed amount won't necessarily improve its effectiveness; instead, it could significantly raise your risk of adverse reactions and poisoning. If your symptoms persist or worsen despite taking the recommended dose, seek medical advice.
Coldson Tablet use is contraindicated for individuals with hypertension, severe cardiac disease, cardiovascular disorders, prior stomach ulcers, or hyperthyroidism, except under physician supervision. Similarly, Coldson Tablet should not be taken concurrently with antidepressant medications. This includes monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as phenelzine and isocarboxazid, and tricyclic antidepressants like imipramine and amitriptyline.
Retain this medication within its original, sealed packaging. Follow the storage guidelines provided on the packaging or label. Discard any leftover medication. Ensure it remains inaccessible to children, pets, and others.
