Overview Contis Tablet

Cold symptoms find relief with the use of Rilex Tablets. This medication offers temporary respite from nasal congestion. It also alleviates allergy symptoms such as rhinorrhea and lacrimation. Rilex Tablets are administered with or without food, following the dosage and duration prescribed by your physician. Your prescribed dosage will be tailored to your specific condition and response to the treatment. Continue the prescribed course of medication; premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence and potential worsening of your condition. Inform your doctor of all other medications you are currently taking, as interactions are possible. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, emesis, dry mouth, sleeplessness, agitation, lassitude, and cephalalgia. Most side effects are transient and self-limiting. Report any concerning side effects to your doctor immediately. Dizziness and somnolence may occur; avoid driving or activities requiring alertness until the effects are known. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to the potential for increased dizziness. Prior to initiating treatment, disclose any kidney or liver conditions to your physician for appropriate dosage adjustment. Additionally, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Important: According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Rilex Tablets are contraindicated for children under 12 years of age.

FAQs on Contis Tablet

Contis Tablet combines caffeine, cetirizine, nimesulide, paracetamol, and phenylephrine to alleviate common cold symptoms such as body aches, headache, fatigue, fever, watery eyes, sneezing, cough, sore throat, and nasal congestion.
Breastfeeding while taking Contis Tablet, which contains the antihistamine cetirizine, is not recommended. Cetirizine can transfer to breast milk and potentially harm your baby. If prescribed Contis, be sure to tell your doctor you're breastfeeding.
Contis Tablet, containing Paracetamol and Nimesulide, can harm the liver, particularly at higher than recommended doses. Alcohol should be avoided while taking this medication to minimize liver damage risk. Patients with pre-existing liver disease should not use Contis Tablet. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience liver damage symptoms such as fever, rash, appetite loss, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, stomach pain, dark urine, jaundice (yellow skin or eyes), or abnormal liver enzyme levels.
Contis Tablet contains caffeine; therefore, avoid other caffeine sources such as coffee, tea, cola, and chocolate to prevent excessive caffeine intake. High caffeine levels can lead to sleep disturbances, tremors, and chest discomfort. Alcohol consumption should also be avoided while taking this medication.
Contis Tablets may cause drowsiness or sleepiness, potentially affecting your ability to perform daily tasks. Refrain from driving, operating machinery, working at heights, or engaging in hazardous activities until you understand the drug's effects on you. Report any drowsiness or sleepiness to your doctor.
Contis Tablet rarely causes serious side effects. However, seek immediate medical attention if you experience allergic reactions, skin rash or peeling, mouth sores, breathing difficulties, unusual bleeding, recurring fever or infections, vision problems, or a rapid or irregular heartbeat. While infrequent, these side effects warrant prompt medical care.
Increasing your dosage beyond the recommended amount won't necessarily improve results; it could instead lead to severe side effects and toxicity. If your symptoms worsen despite taking the prescribed dose, consult your doctor for further assessment.
Store this medication in its original, tightly closed container, following the storage instructions on the label. Discard any unused medication and keep it out of reach of children, pets, and others.
