How Dentogel works:

Dentogel combines choline salicylate, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, with lidocaine, a local anesthetic. Choline salicylate reduces pain and inflammation by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, inflammatory mediators responsible for swelling and redness. Lidocaine numbs the affected area by interrupting nerve transmission of pain signals to the brain, thus lessening pain perception.
