Its mechanism involves inhibiting the release of inflammatory pain mediators, simultaneously boosting local blood flow and providing a cooling sensation. This medication is for external application only. Strictly adhere to your physician's prescribed dosage and duration; exceeding this may intensify side effects. Always consult the product label for application instructions. Apply to clean, dry skin; wash hands thoroughly before and after use, unless the hands are the affected area. Minor burning, irritation, itching, or redness may occur. Persistent or worsening symptoms warrant immediate medical attention; your doctor can advise on mitigating such reactions. How Dithiol Gel works:
Dithiol Gel unites four active ingredients: diclofenac diethylamine, linseed oil, methyl salicylate, and menthol. Diclofenac diethylamine and menthol, both non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), target pain and inflammation (redness and swelling) by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators. Linseed oil, a botanical extract, enhances local blood flow, diminishes inflammation, and facilitates diclofenac diethylamine's dermal absorption. Methyl salicylate provides a localized cooling sensation.
