Exceeding the prescribed dosage or frequency won't hasten recovery and may exacerbate side effects. Most skin infections improve within two to four weeks. Report any lack of improvement to your doctor. Maintaining a clean, dry affected area and practicing hand hygiene before and after application enhances efficacy. For athlete's foot, ensure thorough sock/stocking cleaning and daily shoe changes when feasible.
