Overview Enterozol Tablet

Gastrocalm tablets provide relief from diarrhea and abdominal discomfort. This medication effectively alleviates abdominal pain, bloating, and cramping by relaxing intestinal and stomach muscles. It also neutralizes excess stomach acid and facilitates easier gas expulsion, while simultaneously targeting diarrhea-causing bacteria. Gastrocalm should be taken as directed by your physician, with or without food. Dosage is individualized based on your condition and response. Complete the prescribed course; premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence and condition exacerbation. Inform your doctor of all other medications you are using, as interactions are possible. Common side effects include nausea, a metallic taste, diarrhea, dry mouth, vomiting, abdominal pain, gas, fatigue, anxiety, headache, and blurred vision. These are generally transient and self-limiting. Report any concerning side effects immediately to your doctor. Dizziness and drowsiness may occur; avoid driving or activities requiring alertness until the effects are known. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to the risk of increased dizziness. Before starting treatment, disclose any pregnancy, pregnancy plans, breastfeeding, or kidney/liver disease to your doctor for appropriate dosage adjustment. Seek immediate medical attention for allergic reactions like rash, swelling, or itching.

How Enterozol Tablet works:

Enterozol Tablet combines four active agents—simethicone, dicyclomine, diloxanide furoate, and tinidazole—to combat intestinal infections. Simethicone functions as an antiflatulent, breaking down gas bubbles for easier expulsion. Dicyclomine, an antispasmodic, alleviates cramping, pain, bloating, and discomfort by relaxing intestinal and stomach muscles, thus preventing spasms. Diloxanide furoate, a luminal amoebicide, targets and eliminates amoebic microorganisms within the intestinal tract. Combined with tinidazole for more severe infections, this antibiotic disrupts the DNA of bacteria and other infectious agents, effectively combating the infection.
