Overview EVA Tablet

Comtrex tablets offer symptomatic relief from the common cold. They temporarily alleviate nasal congestion and provide relief from allergic symptoms such as rhinorrhea and lacrimation. Comtrex should be taken as directed by your physician, with or without food; however, taking it with food may minimize stomach upset. Dosage is individualized based on your response and condition. Complete the prescribed course of treatment; premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Disclose all other medications you're using, as interactions are possible. Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, sleeplessness, agitation, impaired coordination, and headache. These are usually transient and self-limiting. Report any concerning side effects immediately to your doctor. Drowsiness and dizziness may occur; avoid driving or activities requiring alertness until the effects are known. Refrain from alcohol consumption during treatment to prevent exacerbated dizziness. Inform your physician of any kidney or liver conditions, or if you are pregnant, considering pregnancy, or breastfeeding, to ensure appropriate dosage.

FAQs on EVA Tablet

EVA Tablet combines paracetamol, caffeine, diphenhydramine, and phenylephrine to alleviate common cold symptoms including aches, headache, fatigue, fever, watery eyes, sneezing, cough, sore throat, and nasal congestion.
Because EVA Tablet contains caffeine, avoid additional caffeine from sources such as coffee, tea, cola, chocolate, and alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, etc.) to prevent excessive caffeine consumption.
EVA Tablet may cause drowsiness. Avoid driving, operating machinery, working at heights, or engaging in hazardous activities until you understand its effects.
EVA Tablet rarely causes serious side effects. Report to your doctor immediately if you experience allergic reactions, skin rash or peeling, mouth sores, breathing difficulties, unusual bleeding, recurring fever or infections, vision problems, or rapid or irregular heartbeat.
Breastfeeding while taking EVA Tablet, containing diphenhydramine, is not recommended. Diphenhydramine can transfer to breast milk, potentially harming your baby. If prescribed EVA Tablet, tell your doctor you are breastfeeding.
Increasing the dosage beyond the recommended amount won't necessarily improve results; it could instead lead to severe side effects and toxicity. If your symptoms persist or worsen despite taking the prescribed dose, seek medical advice.
Avoid EVA Tablet if you have high blood pressure, serious heart or cardiovascular disease, a history of stomach ulcers, or hyperthyroidism, unless your doctor advises otherwise. Also avoid EVA Tablet if you're taking antidepressant medications, such as MAOIs (like phenelzine and isocarboxazid) or tricyclic antidepressants (like imipramine and amitriptyline).
