Overview Femovan Tablet
Cyclen contains a dual-action formula for birth control and managing menstrual irregularities. This medication inhibits ovulation and fertilization. It may also lower ovarian cancer risk. Cyclen can be taken with or without food, but consistent daily timing is crucial for optimal effectiveness. Follow your physician's instructions meticulously, beginning on the first day of your menstrual cycle and continuing for a full month. Start a new pack immediately upon completion of the previous one. If vomiting occurs within four hours of ingestion, take another tablet. If a dose is missed and it's been less than 12 hours, take it immediately; however, if more than 12 hours have elapsed, use a barrier method (like a condom) for two days. Common side effects include nausea, abdominal discomfort, headache, mastalgia, and weight increase. Report any concerning or persistent symptoms to your doctor; management options may be available. Intermenstrual bleeding or amenorrhea may occur; consult your doctor if these become frequent or prolonged. Immediately report any leg swelling, pain, dyspnea, chest pain, or visual disturbances to your doctor, as these may indicate a blood clot. Before starting Cyclen, inform your doctor if you smoke and are over 35, have a history of myocardial infarction, or have uterine/cervical, or vaginal cancer. Disclose all other medications you're using, as interactions may reduce Cyclen's efficacy or alter its function. Do not use this medication if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Regular blood tests and breast exams may be recommended during treatment.
