Chlorhexidine Gluconate, an antiseptic and disinfectant, adheres to teeth, buccal mucosa, and gums, eliminating bacteria and microbes responsible for gingivitis, calculus, and other oral diseases. Metronidazole, an antibiotic, targets infectious microorganisms by disrupting their DNA.
