Report any allergies to this medication to your physician immediately. Potential side effects include nausea, vomiting, alopecia, anemia (low red blood cell count), and leukopenia (low white blood cell count). Pre- and/or during-treatment blood tests may be required. Supplementation might be necessary to address medication-induced deficiencies. A diet rich in fruits and vegetables is also recommended. Disclose all other medications, pregnancy status, and existing health conditions to your doctor. This medication is contraindicated during breastfeeding. Alcohol consumption should be avoided.
