Menstrol is a combined medication indicated for managing excessive menstrual bleeding. Its mechanism involves inhibiting clot dissolution, thereby reducing heavy flow. It also enhances platelet aggregation, promoting clot formation. Menstrol can be administered at any time, with or without food, but consistent daily timing is recommended. Continue treatment as directed by your physician. Adhere to the prescribed dosage and duration; if a dose is missed, take it immediately upon recollection. Complete the entire course, even if symptoms improve. Abrupt cessation should only occur with medical consultation. Common side effects include nausea, abdominal discomfort, headache, nasal stuffiness, sinusitis, skin rash, fatigue, and musculoskeletal pain. Diarrhea may also occur; increased fluid intake is advised to prevent dehydration. If menstrual flow doesn't improve after three consecutive cycles, consult your doctor. Inform your physician of any kidney issues, vaginal bleeding disorders, or current pregnancies/breastfeeding prior to commencing treatment. Disclose all other medications currently being used. Regular eye examinations may be requested during treatment.

How Hemclot Tablet works:

Hemclot tablets contain Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate, two agents that work synergistically to manage bleeding. Tranexamic Acid, an antifibrinolytic, stabilizes blood clots by inhibiting their breakdown. Ethamsylate, a hemostatic agent, promotes platelet aggregation and clot formation, thus controlling bleeding, particularly from small capillaries.

What if you forget to take Hemclot Tablet :

Should you forget a Hemclot Tablet dose, ingest it immediately. If, however, your next scheduled dose is imminent, omit the missed dose and resume your usual regimen. Never take a double dose.
