Overview Kabiflu Tablet

FluRelief tablets offer symptomatic relief from the common cold. They temporarily alleviate nasal congestion and address allergy symptoms such as rhinorrhea and ocular pruritus. Dosage and duration of FluRelief are determined by your physician and depend on individual response and condition severity. Complete the prescribed course; premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence and potential worsening. Inform your doctor of all concurrent medications, as interactions are possible. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, emesis, xerostomia, insomnia, akathisia, lassitude, and cephalalgia. Most are transient and self-limiting. Report any concerning side effects immediately. Drowsiness and dizziness may occur; avoid activities requiring alertness until effects are known. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to potential exacerbation of dizziness. Prior to initiating treatment, disclose any hepatic or renal impairment to allow for appropriate dosage adjustment. Pregnancy, pregnancy planning, or lactation should also be reported. Important: In accordance with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare guidelines, FluRelief is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.

Breastfeeding is not recommended while taking Kabiflu Tablet. The medication contains cetirizine, an antihistamine that may transfer to breast milk and potentially harm your baby. If prescribed Kabiflu, be sure to tell your doctor you are breastfeeding.
Kabiflu Tablets, containing Paracetamol and Nimesulide, can harm the liver, particularly at higher than recommended doses. Alcohol should be avoided while taking this medication due to increased liver damage risk. Patients with pre-existing liver disease should not use Kabiflu. However, report immediately to your doctor any allergic reactions, skin rash or peeling, mouth sores, breathing difficulties, unusual bleeding, recurring fevers or infections, vision problems, or rapid or irregular heartbeat. While infrequent, these warrant prompt medical attention.
Exceeding the recommended dosage won't necessarily improve effectiveness; it could instead lead to severe side effects and toxicity. If your symptoms worsen despite taking the prescribed dose, consult your doctor for reassessment.
