Overview Koldonil-N Tablet

Nasalif-N tablets offer symptomatic relief from the common cold. They temporarily alleviate nasal congestion and provide relief from allergic symptoms such as rhinorrhea and ocular pruritus. Nasalif-N should be administered as directed by your physician, with or without food. Dosage is individualized based on your response and condition, and the prescribed course must be completed to prevent symptom recurrence and potential exacerbation. Inform your doctor of all other medications you are currently using, as interactions may occur. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, emesis, xerostomia, insomnia, akathisia, lassitude, and cephalalgia. Most side effects are transient and self-limiting. Report any concerning side effects to your doctor immediately. Drowsiness and vertigo may occur; avoid driving or operating machinery until the effects are known. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to potential exacerbation of dizziness. Prior to commencing treatment, disclose any hepatic or renal impairment, pregnancy, pregnancy planning, or breastfeeding to your physician for appropriate dosage adjustment. **Important:** Nasalif-N tablets are contraindicated for use in children below 12 years of age (Ministry of Health and Family Welfare guidelines).

FAQs on Koldonil-N Tablet

Koldonil-N Tablets combine caffeine, cetirizine, nimesulide, paracetamol, and phenylephrine to alleviate cold symptoms such as body aches, headache, fatigue, fever, watery eyes, sneezing, cough, sore throat, and nasal congestion.
Breastfeeding while taking Koldonil-N Tablets, which contain the antihistamine cetirizine, is not recommended. Cetirizine can transfer to breast milk and potentially harm your baby. If prescribed Koldonil-N, be sure to tell your doctor you are breastfeeding.
Koldonil-N Tablets, containing Paracetamol and Nimesulide, can harm the liver, particularly at higher than recommended doses. Alcohol should be avoided while taking this medication due to increased liver damage risk. Patients with pre-existing liver disease should generally not use Koldonil-N. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience liver damage symptoms such as fever, rash, appetite loss, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, abdominal pain, dark urine, jaundice (yellow skin or eyes), or abnormal liver enzyme levels.
Koldonil-N Tablets contain caffeine; therefore, avoid additional caffeine from foods (coffee, tea, cola, chocolate) and beverages (alcohol). Excessive caffeine can lead to sleep disturbances, tremors, and chest discomfort.
Koldonil-N Tablets can cause drowsiness or sleepiness, potentially affecting your ability to perform daily tasks. Refrain from driving, operating machinery, working at heights, or engaging in hazardous activities until you understand the medication's effects on you. Report any drowsiness or sleepiness to your doctor.
Koldonil-N Tablet rarely causes serious side effects. However, report these immediately to your doctor: allergic reactions, skin rash or peeling, mouth sores, breathing difficulties, unusual bleeding, recurring fevers or infections, vision problems, or rapid or irregular heartbeat. While infrequent, these side effects require prompt medical attention.
Higher doses than recommended won't necessarily improve effectiveness; they may instead increase the risk of serious side effects and toxicity. If your symptoms worsen despite taking the recommended dose, consult your doctor for a reassessment.
Store this medication in its original, tightly closed container, following the storage instructions on the packaging. Discard any unused medication and keep it out of reach of children, pets, and others.
