Overview Laton Eye Drop

Glaucoma and ocular hypertension (high eye pressure) can cause vision damage and even blindness if left untreated. Optic pressure reducing eye drops, such as Laton, help manage this by facilitating fluid drainage from the eye into the bloodstream. Suitable for adults and children, Laton may be used alone or with other medications. Consistent use, as directed by your physician, is crucial for optimal effect; discontinuation can lead to increased eye pressure and subsequent vision loss. Always check the seal before initial use; a broken seal indicates the bottle should be discarded. Contact lens wearers should remove their lenses before administration and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion. Common side effects include altered eyelashes, eye discomfort, photosensitivity, blurred vision, dryness, and infrequent color changes. Report any adverse effects to your doctor, who can offer management strategies or alternative therapies. Avoid driving if experiencing blurred vision or other visual disturbances until your sight returns to normal. This is typically temporary. Laton should not be used during pregnancy, attempts to conceive, or while breastfeeding.
