Less frequent but potentially serious side effects encompass behavioral changes (agitation, irritability), skin rashes, and allergic reactions (hives, itching, breathing difficulties, facial/throat swelling). Report any allergic reactions or persistent behavioral changes (confusion, forgetfulness, increased aggression) immediately. Suicidal ideation has been reported in some patients; inform your doctor of any mood deterioration. Prior to treatment, disclose kidney issues, depression, suicidal thoughts, and pregnancy status. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to increased seizure risk and intensified side effects like drowsiness and dizziness, which may impair driving or operating machinery.
