Combiflu D tablets are indicated for managing common cold symptoms including nasal discharge, nasal congestion, sneezing, lacrimation, and sinus congestion. This medication also provides relief from pain and fever. Combiflu D should be taken with food, following the dosage and duration prescribed by your physician. Dosage is individualized based on your condition and response. Continue taking the medication for the full prescribed period; premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence and condition exacerbation. Inform your doctor of all other medications you are currently using, as interactions may occur. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, emesis, headache, anxiety, sleep disturbances, and agitation. Most side effects are transient and resolve spontaneously. Report any concerning side effects to your doctor immediately. Drowsiness is a potential side effect; avoid driving or activities requiring alertness until the medication's effects are known. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to the potential for increased drowsiness. Self-medication and recommending this medication to others are strongly discouraged. Adequate hydration is recommended during treatment. Patients with kidney or liver impairment, pregnant women, women planning pregnancy, and breastfeeding mothers should inform their physician before commencing treatment to ensure appropriate dosage. Note: In accordance with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare guidelines, Combiflu D is contraindicated for individuals under 12 years of age.
