Dry eye discomfort is relieved by the ophthalmic lubricant, Lubricel 0.5% w/v solution. This artificial tear solution compensates for insufficient tear production, soothing burning and irritation by restoring ocular lubrication. Application is as-needed, with dosage determined by your physician. Allow at least 5-10 minutes between administering this and other eye medications to prevent dilution. Discard any bottle with a damaged seal. Maintain hand hygiene and avoid dropper tip contact to prevent contamination. Long-term use is safe and may be necessary. Common, usually transient side effects include eye irritation (burning, discomfort), pain, itching, and blurred vision. Report persistent or worsening symptoms to your doctor. Refrain from driving or operating machinery until vision is clear. Consult your doctor for treatment inefficacy or bothersome side effects.
