DermaClear Lotion should be applied as directed by your physician; exceeding the prescribed dosage or frequency won't accelerate healing and may heighten adverse effects. Most infections resolve within 2 to 4 weeks. Report any lack of improvement to your doctor. Maintaining cleanliness and dryness of the affected area, along with hand hygiene before and after application, enhances efficacy. For tinea pedis, ensure thorough sock/hosiery washing and daily shoe changes when feasible. Commonly reported side effects include localized burning, irritation, pruritus, erythema, and dryness. These are generally transient. Persistent or bothersome side effects warrant medical consultation. Seek immediate medical assistance for allergic reactions (rash, lip/throat/facial swelling, dysphagia, dyspnea, nausea). Avoid ocular contact; rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical attention if accidental exposure occurs. While unlikely, inform your physician of concurrent medications (oral or injectable) and prior use of topical steroids or other antifungals, especially if a previous allergic reaction occurred.
