Overview Luliza Cream

DermaClear cream is an antifungal medication indicated for various cutaneous fungal infections, including tinea pedis, tinea cruris, candidiasis, tinea corporis, and xerosis. Its mechanism involves eliminating the causative fungi. DermaClear cream should be applied as directed by your physician; exceeding the prescribed dosage or frequency won't expedite healing and may heighten adverse reactions. Most skin infections improve within two to four weeks. Report any lack of improvement to your doctor. Maintaining cleanliness and dryness of the affected area, along with hand hygiene before and after application, enhances efficacy. For tinea pedis, ensure thorough sock/hosiery washing and, ideally, daily shoe changes. Common side effects, such as localized burning, irritation, pruritus, erythema, and dryness, are usually transient. Persistent or bothersome effects warrant medical consultation. Seek immediate medical assistance for allergic reactions (rash, lip/throat/facial swelling, dyspnea, nausea). Avoid ocular contact; rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical advice if accidental contact occurs. While unlikely, inform your doctor about concurrent medications (oral or injectable), prior steroid use, or prior antifungal allergy before commencing treatment. Consult your doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

FAQs on Luliza Cream

The use of Luliza Cream is not recommended during pregnancy due to a lack of safety data. Nevertheless, a physician should be consulted to weigh the potential benefits against any risks to the fetus should application of Luliza Cream be deemed necessary.
Luliza Cream's antifungal action stems from its ability to inhibit fungal growth. This is achieved by reducing the level of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes, thus demonstrating its fungicidal effect.
Apply Luliza Cream precisely as directed by your physician. For athlete's foot affecting the spaces between your toes, a thin layer should be applied to the infected area, extending the application at least one inch beyond the affected zone. Administer this once daily for a fortnight. In cases of jock itch or ringworm, apply a thin layer to the affected skin, extending the application one inch beyond the affected area. Apply once daily for seven days. Ensure thorough hand washing after each application.
Luliza Cream's effectiveness varies depending on the condition. Interdigital athlete's foot typically shows improvement within four weeks, although a six-week timeframe may be necessary for some individuals. In contrast, jock itch and ringworm often respond within three weeks, with a potential extension to four weeks for complete resolution.
