Overview Nimucet Syrup
Pedicet Suspension combines two nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This medication effectively reduces fever, pain, and inflammation (swelling and redness) in infants and children. Pedicet Suspension functions by inhibiting a chemical messenger responsible for fever and inflammation. Administer the prescribed dosage at the specified time and method. Oral administration is acceptable before or after meals; however, post-meal administration minimizes stomach upset. Consistent timing promotes adherence and prevents missed doses. If vomiting occurs within 30 minutes of ingestion, repeat the dose; however, omit if the next dose is due. Avoid exceeding the recommended dose for quicker relief, as this may cause adverse reactions. Complete the entire course of treatment, even if symptoms improve, as premature cessation may exacerbate the condition. Potential side effects include nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, heartburn, and diarrhea – typically temporary and resolving with continued use. Persistent or bothersome side effects warrant immediate consultation with your child's physician. Important: Per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Pedicet Suspension is contraindicated for children under 12 years of age.
