Overview Paraset Cold Tablet

Rilex Cold Relief tablets offer temporary symptomatic relief from the common cold. This medication eases nasal congestion and alleviates allergy symptoms such as rhinorrhea and lacrimation. Rilex Cold Relief should be taken as prescribed by your physician, with or without food. Dosage and treatment duration are determined by your individual response and condition. Complete the prescribed course; premature discontinuation may lead to symptom recurrence and condition exacerbation. Inform your doctor of all other medications you're using, as interactions are possible. Common side effects include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, sleep disturbances (insomnia and restlessness), fatigue, and headache. Most are transient and self-limiting. Report any concerning side effects immediately to your doctor. Drowsiness and dizziness may occur; avoid driving or activities requiring alertness until the effects are known. Alcohol consumption should be avoided due to the increased risk of dizziness. Prior to initiating treatment, disclose any kidney or liver conditions, or pregnancy/breastfeeding plans, to ensure appropriate dosage. **Important:** According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Rilex Cold Relief is contraindicated for children under 12 years of age.

Paraset Cold Tablet combines five medications—Caffeine, Cetirizine, Nimesulide, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine—to alleviate common cold symptoms such as body aches, headache, fatigue, fever, watery eyes, sneezing, cough, sore throat, and nasal congestion.
Breastfeeding while taking Paraset Cold Tablets, which contain the antihistamine cetirizine, is not recommended. Cetirizine can transfer to breast milk, potentially harming your baby. If prescribed Paraset Cold Tablets, inform your doctor you are breastfeeding.
Paraset Cold Tablets, containing Paracetamol and Nimesulide, can harm the liver, particularly at doses exceeding recommendations. Alcohol consumption should be avoided while using this medication due to increased liver damage risk. Patients with pre-existing liver disease should not use this medicine. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience potential liver damage symptoms such as fever, rash, appetite loss, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, abdominal pain, dark urine, jaundice (yellow skin or eyes), or abnormal liver enzyme levels.
Paraset Cold Tablets contain caffeine; therefore, you should limit your intake of other caffeine-containing foods and beverages, such as coffee, tea, cola, and chocolate. Paraset Cold Tablet rarely causes serious side effects. However, report any allergic reactions, skin rash or peeling, mouth sores, breathing difficulties, unusual bleeding, recurring fevers or infections, vision problems, or rapid/irregular heartbeat to your doctor immediately. While infrequent, these side effects could be serious and require prompt medical care.
Increasing your dosage beyond the recommended amount won't necessarily improve results; it could lead to severe side effects and toxicity. If your symptoms worsen despite taking the prescribed dose, consult your doctor for further assessment.
