Overview Paxiba 5 Tablet

CardioGuard 5mg tablets function as an anticoagulant, preventing and treating blood clots. This medication inhibits clot formation in leg, lung, brain, and heart veins, mitigating stroke and heart attack risk. Frequently prescribed for patients with atrial fibrillation to prevent thrombosis, it's also used post-elective hip or knee replacement. Administer with or without food, consistently at the same time daily. Long-term, even lifelong, use may be necessary; never discontinue or adjust dosage without physician approval, as this significantly increases stroke, heart attack, or thrombosis risk. Lifestyle modifications such as diet, exercise, smoking cessation, and weight management further reduce clotting risk. Increased bleeding (nosebleeds, bruising) is the most common adverse effect; report any symptom immediately. Other potential side effects include hematoma, anemia, and nausea. Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment, active bleeding, or concurrent use of other anticoagulants. Breastfeeding is not recommended while taking CardioGuard 5mg. Unlike many anticoagulants, routine PT-INR monitoring is unnecessary.
