Discard any bottle with a compromised seal. Maintain hand hygiene and avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent contamination. Long-term use is safe and may be necessary. Common, typically transient, side effects include eye irritation (burning, discomfort), pain, itching, and blurred vision. Persistent or worsening side effects should be reported to your doctor.
