Overview Rivared 15mg Tablet

Xylothin 15mg tablets function as an anticoagulant, preventing and treating blood clots to mitigate the risk of stroke and heart attack. This medication inhibits clot formation in leg, lung, brain, and heart veins. Frequently prescribed for individuals with atrial fibrillation to prevent clot development, it also lowers clot risk post-knee or hip replacement. Xylothin 15mg may be ingested with or without food, consistently at the same time daily for optimal efficacy. Long-term, even lifelong, use may be necessary; discontinuation or dosage alteration should only occur under physician supervision, as abrupt cessation significantly increases heart attack, stroke, or thrombosis risk. Lifestyle modifications such as cessation of smoking, a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and weight management (if needed) further reduce clot risk. Increased bleeding (e.g., nosebleeds, bruising) is a common side effect; report any adverse symptoms promptly. Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment, active bleeding, or concurrent use of other anticoagulants. Breastfeeding is not advised during treatment. Unlike some anticoagulants, routine PT-INR monitoring isn't mandated.

FAQs on Rivared 15mg Tablet

Rivared 15mg Tablet may cause common side effects such as prolonged or heavy bleeding, shortness of breath (possibly indicating bleeding), fatigue, weakness, pallor, dizziness, headache, and unexplained swelling. Serious side effects include severe skin reactions and allergies, bruising, hemoptysis (coughing up blood), skin or subcutaneous bleeding, and painful limb swelling. The medication can also elevate bilirubin levels and reduce platelet count. Fainting, rapid heartbeat, and dry mouth are other possible side effects. Report any side effects to your doctor immediately.
Rivared 15mg tablets are anticoagulants, preventing blood clots in blood vessels and helping to reduce the risk of recurrence. They are used to treat blood clots in leg veins and lung blood vessels.
Rivared 15mg Tablets offer several benefits, but can increase bleeding, even from minor injuries, by reducing blood clotting. Serious, potentially dangerous bleeding requiring immediate medical attention is possible, especially when combined with other blood thinners. Report any bleeding, however minor, to your doctor.
Don't consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking Rivared 15mg Tablets; grapefruit slows Rivared's metabolism, increasing the risk of bleeding. If you're also taking a blood thinner like warfarin, avoid foods high in vitamin K (e.g., spinach, Brussels sprouts, mustard greens, broccoli, asparagus, green tea) as these promote blood clotting. However, these foods don't interact with Rivared 15mg Tablets.
