Overview Rivared 20mg Tablet

Thromborex 20mg tablets function as an anticoagulant, preventing and treating blood clots. This medication mitigates the risk of stroke and heart attack by inhibiting clot formation in leg, lung, brain, and heart veins. Frequently prescribed for patients with atrial fibrillation to prevent thrombus development, Thromborex 20mg is also beneficial for individuals post-knee or hip replacement. Ingestion may coincide with or be independent of meals; consistent daily timing optimizes efficacy. Long-term, even lifelong, use may be necessary; discontinuation or dosage alteration requires physician consultation, as abrupt cessation significantly increases the risk of stroke, heart attack, or thrombosis. Lifestyle modifications, including cessation of smoking, a balanced diet, regular physical activity, and weight management (if indicated), further minimize clot risk. Increased bleeding susceptibility (e.g., nosebleeds, bruising) is a common side effect; report any adverse reactions promptly. Contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic or renal impairment, active bleeding, or concomitant use of other anticoagulants. Breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment. Unlike many anticoagulants, routine PT-INR monitoring is unnecessary.

FAQs on Rivared 20mg Tablet

Rivared 20mg Tablet may cause prolonged or heavy bleeding, shortness of breath (possibly indicating bleeding), fatigue, pallor, dizziness, headache, and unexplained swelling. Serious side effects include severe skin reactions, allergic reactions, bruising, hemoptysis, subcutaneous bleeding, limb swelling and pain. It can also elevate bilirubin levels and reduce platelet count. Fainting, rapid heart rate, and dry mouth are other possible side effects. Report any side effect to your doctor immediately.
Rivared 20mg tablets are anticoagulants, preventing blood clots within blood vessels and helping to avoid recurrence. They're used to treat clots in leg veins and lung blood vessels.
Rivared 20mg Tablets offer several benefits, but can increase bleeding, even from minor injuries, by reducing blood clotting. Serious, potentially dangerous bleeding requiring immediate medical attention is possible, especially when taken with other blood thinners. Report any bleeding, however minor, to your doctor.
Don't consume grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking Rivared 20mg Tablets, as grapefruit inhibits Rivared's metabolism, increasing the risk of bleeding. If you're also taking a blood thinner like warfarin, avoid foods high in vitamin K (e.g., spinach, Brussels sprouts, mustard greens, broccoli, asparagus, green tea) which promote blood clotting. However, these vitamin K-rich foods don't affect Rivared 20mg Tablets.
