Overview Rutears DS 1% Eye Drop

Dry eye relief is provided by the ophthalmic lubricant, Lacrilube DS 1% eye drops. These artificial tears address insufficient tear production, alleviating the burning and discomfort associated with dry eyes by restoring proper ocular lubrication. Lacrilube DS 1% is administered as needed, following your physician's prescribed dosage. Allow 5-10 minutes between applications of this and other eye medications to prevent dilution. Discard any bottle with a compromised seal. Maintain hand hygiene and avoid touching the dropper tip to prevent infection. This medication may be used long-term, safely continuing as long as needed. Common, typically transient, side effects include blurry vision, redness, irritation, and occasional eye pain. Report these to your doctor, but they generally resolve spontaneously. Refrain from driving, operating machinery, or engaging in activities requiring sharp vision until visual acuity returns to normal. Consult your doctor if symptoms persist, worsen, or side effects are bothersome. While generally unaffected by other medications, inform your physician of any history of glaucoma. Avoid use while wearing soft contact lenses and seek immediate medical attention should an eye infection develop during treatment.
