Overview Sescab 5% Soap
Scāb-X 5% soap is an antiparasitic treatment for scabies, a skin infestation caused by microscopic mites. It eradicates both adult mites and their eggs. Your physician will provide application instructions and dosage. Always follow the accompanying patient leaflet for correct usage. Apply to clean, dry, and cool skin. Thoroughly wash your entire body 8–14 hours post-application. A single application usually suffices; however, a second application may be necessary after at least 7 days. Post-treatment itching, often lasting several weeks, typically stems from an allergic reaction to dead mites, not treatment failure. Minor burning, stinging, or tingling at the application site are common, but generally mild and not universally experienced. Inform your doctor of any pre-existing skin conditions, allergies (to medications, foods, or other substances), or asthma before use. While generally safe, pregnant or breastfeeding individuals should consult their doctor before using this medication.
